When Sasha, the founder of Waterlings, approached us to design their website, we knew this project was going to be something special. Sasha isn’t just passionate about creating thoughtfully designed swimwear for kids—she also owns a swim school, so she truly understands what little swimmers (and their parents) need. Her vision for Waterlings was all about blending playfulness with practicality, and we couldn’t wait to bring it to life.
The website design focused on creating a space that was as fun as it was functional. Bright, cheerful colors set the tone, and we carefully crafted layouts that were easy for parents to navigate. We wanted every page to reflect the joy and energy of kids in the water while making shopping a breeze. A standout element was the beautiful illustrations by Nat Carrol. Her playful artwork—full of whimsical details—added a layer of magic, tying the entire site together and making every visit feel like a little adventure.
One of the most memorable parts of this project was art directing the photoshoot. Sasha wanted to capture kids being kids—splashing, laughing, and having the time of their lives in the pool. The shoot was all about creating a relaxed environment where the kids could shine naturally. The result was a collection of candid, joy-filled images that brought the swimwear to life and celebrated the spirit of Waterlings.
Working with Sasha was an absolute privilege. Her passion for helping little swimmers thrive—both through her swim school and Waterlings—was evident in every detail. It was inspiring to collaborate with someone so dedicated to creating products that are not only practical but also packed with personality.
Bringing her vision to life, from the vibrant website to the playful photoshoot, reminded us why we love what we do. It’s about creating experiences that resonate and leave a lasting impression.
