It’s been a big year for us Softies: 2024 Wrapped

Want to know more about what we got up to in 2024?
Check out our full scope of projects here.

Hey Team,

I'm writing an email to say thank you for your projects in 2024. We're signing off for the year after our team Christmas Party tomorrow. It's been a fabulous year for Soft Launch, very much thanks to you.

Whilst it's impossible to truly pick favourites, here's a brief 2024 wrapped :-)

January To kick off the year, we wrapped up our development of Pangallo's new website. This taught us how much we love a Shopify design and it's fair to say this client was over-the-moon with the result.

February Naming, Branding & Web for Compa + & Sando, Matt Moran's debut to Canberra, has to be a highlight of the year for us!

March We finished of the design and shopify dev for the incredible team at Mount Zero Olives - our largest Shopify job for the year.

April Was all about CHRG + Catering HQ, two of our long term clients opening new venues and new arms of their businesses. We're so thankful to these teams for the work over the years which has spanned across over 20 + venues now.

May We launched our Secret Menu! This is all of our services packaged up a little cheaper and delivered at lightning speed. With the aim to service hospo + food clients that are in the early scaling stages.

June Our first Secret Menu job, a One Week Brand, was for Little Caterer Sydney. A fellow inner westie! I don't know if you know this, but everyone of us is a designer, illustrator and coder (an odd, yet delicious combo!).

July I walked into the new cafe that took over Cornersmith in Annandale - Meli. I met George, and started talking all things hospo + food. The next day we started working together on a new project he was launching in Bondi Junction. Within the week we named, branded and created all the touchpoints for Sabine.

August Ravensworth Wines went live! We brought this beautiful brand to through web design (Shopify). This project was designed and delivered in 10 days!

September This month was all about cookies! We designed and developed a new website for Happy Alley, who are about to go live with a Cookie Club soon. During our end of year Christmas Market, they surprised us with a delivery of around 100 cookies. So, the obsession with one-another is mutual!

October This was a month of 'not-hospo' work. It's fun stepping out of the industry (sometimes!). We donated a One Week Brand to Click Collab, whose focus is to support communities to reach Zero Domestic Violence. As well as branding for Home Done Differently, Your Loan Store and an in-house fave for the year Party Stems. We also launched and art-directed a shoot for Waterlings – a day by the pool with 6 under 4 year olds. It was A LOT, but we nailed it.

November
We can't get through a year without talking about our best friends at Pepe Saya. Who have started expanding into the states this year – sharing vegemite with the amish community on zoom was not on our bingo card for this year. We're lucky enough to be the brand guardians of this Aussie sweetheart. If we had to choose one fave thing we did together this year it'd have to be Sticky Tin Tin, which we named and designed. It flew off the online shelves like no tomorrow!

December
The final month of this year, an incredible new client landed on our desks. I can't say who, but I can tell you we accidentally ghosted them on Linkedin for a month and it's potentially our biggest brand-partnership ever. Lesson: don't sleep on Linkedin.

That's all for now!
To more amazing work and great relationships in 2025.

I hope you have a beautiful Christmas with those you love most.

Merry everything.
Georgia
